The NFLPA convention in Cleveland this week is about to get even more expensive.
Starting Tuesday, fans are required to pay for an NFL-sanctioned hotel, transportation, and food at hotels booked on their own, according to the NFL.
This means the cost of attending the convention will be higher than the average for an average American household.
The average hotel in the United States costs $1,600 per night, according the National Association of Realtors.
The NFL says that the $1.7 million price tag includes food, transportation and entertainment.
The league said it is also adding additional concessions, but the convention organizers and hotels haven’t released those details.
If you’re not willing to pay more for food, you’ll have to head to a competitor’s convention, where prices are often lower.
Here’s what you need to know before you hit the convention line.
What Is the NFLPA Conference?
The NFLPA, the professional football players union, is the bargaining body for the NFL, the National Football League, and all 32 NFL teams.
The union represents roughly half of the league’s players.
Its membership is comprised of the highest-paid players in the league, and the players have been critical to the union’s success.
The NFL has been trying to increase revenue over the past decade, especially after it re-upped the salary cap to $100 million for the 2019 season.
But the cost to the league has been rising, which led the NFL to cut its own bargaining agreement in 2016 and hire the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
The NLRB has been the key to the current labor war, which has pushed the players and owners into the courts, threatening to break up the NFL and its union.
The current standoff is the latest chapter in a decade-long battle between the NFL Players Association and the NFL that started when the union sought to bargain with the league on a new collective bargaining agreement.
The NHL has been involved in the labor war for decades, but this latest round is the first time the NHL is going into court over its union contracts.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has been working with the union for many years to negotiate a new CBA, which would allow the league to negotiate for a better contract.
That process has not gone well.
Bettman’s attempts to negotiate the new collective-bargaining agreement have been unsuccessful, and his latest attempt, which was finalized in April, was rejected by the league in a 4-3 vote.
The union is also working to push the NFL into the United Nations.
The NHL has argued that the current collective bargaining agreements with the players are not legally binding and should be rejected.
The League has countered that the CBA would not be in effect if the union didn’t want it to.
Bells of protest rang out in the convention center on Tuesday.
A banner reading “Unite for justice” hung from a pole that had been erected outside the convention hall, and a giant banner hung from the building’s ceiling that read “The NFL, not union, governs.”
In the past, the union has called on the NFL not to go to the UN.
In 2012, the league and the union agreed to work out a CBA that would have required all teams to make a 10 percent financial contribution to the World Bank and the United Nation, which helps the United Kingdom and other countries deal with their debt problems.
The agreement was never ratified, but it has not stopped the league from trying to push for a new contract.
The National Football Association was formed in 1960.
It has played in seven Super Bowls and won seven Superbowls.
Its members are all paid $2 million a year.
They play in the Super Bowl, the Superbowl XLVI, the AFC Championship Game, the AFL Championship Game and the World Series.
